Do you support IPv6?
To answer this question, we need to clarify the situation because there are always 2 sides to every... proxy ;)
Indeed, there is the IP you call on our infrastructure (PROXYPONY_IP) and the IP the carrier returns (TELECOM_OPERATOR_IP). Today, our infrastructure is in IPv4 so every PROXYPONY_IP will be in IPv4. However, we can easily set up some IPv6 PROXYPONY_IPs if you need.
As for the TELECOM_OPERATOR_IPs, this depends on the operators themselves. At this date and time, we do not have a complete view of how each operator deals with IPv6. In case you are interested in particular operators, we can find out more about it.
If you wish to know if our current proxies have an IPv6 address, you can use the following link to test your connection: http://ipv6test.google.com/. If you get the following message "You don’t have IPv6, but you shouldn’t have problems on websites that add IPv6 support.", that doesn't necessarily mean the operator does not provide IPv6, just that it is not currently available on our proxies. We are of course looking into it as more customers will require this option.
